Now type your new clickbank ID (e.g. "johnsmith" or whatever you have chosen) and e-mail address into the box and click the button that says "Get my affiliate code!"
If your username were "johnsmith" this will give you an address that looks like:
http://hop.clickbank.net/?johnsmith/forsurveys
This is the address that you need to direct people to in order to get credit for the sales. However, if you're going to be placing classified ads, this address is a little bit long and difficult to use. Therefore, we recommend the service called TinyURL.com. TinyURL will give you a redirect URL which is much shorter, and will also let you track the number of people who visit your link so you can judge how effective your ads are.
Just go to www.TinyURL.com and enter in your affiliate link from above. For example, if your clickbank username was "johnsmith" you would enter "http://hop.clickbank.net/?johnsmith/forsurveys" and then click "Make TinyURL!"
You will now get a short address, such as:
http://tinyurl.com/35wbl
This is the address that you can place in your classified ads! When people type it in, they automatically get directed to our site, with your affilite code, so that you get paid. Just to make sure, type it in yourself, and see if it directs you to getcashforsurveys.com. Look in the address bar of your browser. You should see a part that says "hop=something" if that "something" is your clickbank username, then it worked!
